Sports Day at Kitsilano Beach
Across the water from downtown Vancouver, Kitsilano is a popular spot for locals and visitors, with a variety of shops and restaurants, complete with a beautiful view of sandy beaches and the calm waters of English Bay.
This beautiful beach is accompanied by a community centre, volleyball posts, basketball and tennis courts, and sprawling green fields next to the tranquil view of the bay.

At Kitsilano Beach, CES students can enjoy a large variety of activities, from collaborative team sports to energetic party games or walks along the water and sand. Our activities are designed to suit all interests and abilities, so everyone can join in and have a great time.

Soccer (played on open grass field with cones)
Basketball (marked courts located near the beach)
Spikeball (portable game set brought from CES)
Volleyball (school nets can be set up on posts on the sand)
Badminton (multiple outdoor sets available for many players)
Scoop & Ball Game (soft-ball sets for safe group play)
Frisbees (great for outdoor spaces, can use school cones for Frisbee Golf)
American Football (great for casual games)
Tennis (courts available at beach)
Capture the Flag (great for team-building)
Card Games and board games for relaxing in the shade
All equipment is provided and activities are supervised by CES staff and group leaders, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
